A River Runs Through Us Paddle Session

Starting in Benton Township park and traveling 6 miles down the St. Joseph river to the Blossomtime Bridge, “A River Runs Through Us” is an event that celebrates and honors the fact that all water is connected. So are we.

Bring your human-powered vessels - kayaks, SUPs, canoes - for a 1:30pm upstream start, arriving at the St. Joseph/Benton Harbor bridges as the Unified Civic Monuments Project holds a unity walk across the bridges and between communities.

Afterparty is at 4:30pm, St Joe Community Taproom in The Market 301 Main. Water-based participants receive a $10 food/beverage certificate, as well as a Zoy! mug and Unified Civic Monuments of Zoy! shirt while supplies last.

Sign up below to connect with us about the event, and participate if the weather and the world allows. This event is free and open to anyone.

Limited vessels are available for rent and there is some opportunity for shuttling; please text Al at 219-928-8599 for more information.
